Hurricane Harvey Heroes from Oklahoma

The team at the Candlewood Suites in Ardmore recently went above and beyond the call of duty to help victims of Hurricane Harvey along the Texas coast.

They report:

“We made the trip to Rockport to the disaster drop-off zone and were told that the city building inspector had just left from inspecting the warehouse and deemed it unsafe for people to utilize any further as it had some structural damage that they did not know about. They diverted us to Port Arkansas to deliver all of the food and water we had to what was called Cowboy David CAMP, which was basically a tent city set up with several smokers, a pantry, water stations, and volunteer cooks servers etc. They had a refrigerated truck they were keeping meats in. They were feeding everyone and anyone for free with all the donations and they were planning on staying until normalcy returns which I can safely say will not be for months!

Our donations consisted of over 5000 bottles of water, 12 cases of bar soaps donated by multiple local hotels, 12 cases of wipes, tons of shovels, contractors trash bags, cleaning supplies and various types of tools and work gloves etc. We estimated the values of all items donated to around $8000.

We did have a BBQ fundraiser here at the hotel for cash donations ($500) which we used to pay for the fuel and meals of the 3 volunteers that went down and for all expenses we incurred.”

Holiday Express Boonville Honored

We are very proud to announce that the Holiday Inn Express Boonville Missouri has won the IHG® 2016 Quality Excellence Award. This award is well sought after and is only awarded to hotels that achieve superior levels of excellence in both service and product. Only 2% of all IHS hotels receive this honor.

“Nick, Shelly and the whole team at Boonville have a strong guest centered culture that starts with daily personal interactions with every guest” says Integral Director of Operations Bryan Groover. “They have a wonderful focus and always remember that no matter how busy they get it, they still take time to give every guest a warm welcome,” said Groover.

Although most of the guests at the Express stay only one night, the team always takes the time to get to know them like family. From hand written notes to follow up phone calls, and pre-check in emails, every team member participates in making sure every guest experience is extraordinary.

The Holiday Inn Express Boonville is one of only 111 properties selected from the company’s more than 5,100 hotels in recognition of overall quality excellence.

“I am pleased to honor the Holiday Inn Express Boonville, Missouri with the quality excellence award,” said Elie Maalouf, Chief Executive Officer – The Americas for IHG. “We applaud the performance of the Boonville team. Clearly the hotel puts our guests at the heart of everything they do. We’re very proud them as part of the IHG family.”

There’s a Buzz in the Air in Beeville TX

The Hampton Inn Beeville TX has the town buzzing about the accolades they continue to receive from Hampton by Hilton.  It would have been easy for Nickelle Gonzales and her team to enjoy the five 2015 “Mover and Shakers” awards  they received – a distinction given only to the top 25 hotels in each service category.

Instead, Nickelle and her team set their eyes on winning a Lighthouse Award in 2016.  The Lighthouse Award is given to the top 5% of Hampton by Hilton Hotels, designating them as “Beacons of Hospitality.”   After achieving an outstanding 95% on her quality assurance inspection in April, Nickelle and her team were well on their way to their goal.  They continued to follow up each quarter with service scores that led the brand in a majority of categories.  In early 2017 Nickelle and her team were presented the coveted Lighthouse Award.

Nickelle and her team took about 5 minutes to enjoy their achievement before setting their sights even higher in 2017.  The Connie Award, named after Conrad Hilton, is awarded to the top 6 Hampton by Hilton Hotels each year.  In March the Hampton Inn Beeville posted yet another outstanding quality assurance inspection and has supported it with brand leading guest satisfaction scores.  This month the Hampton Inn Beeville was awarded the first quarter “Wall of Fame” Award for reaching #8 on the Total Quality Score Rankings.  This places Nickelle and her team firmly in the grasp or bringing home some additional hardware.

We are excited to follow Nickelle, her team and the Hampton Inn Beeville in their progress in 2017.  Regardless of the outcome, the Hampton Inn Beeville is undoubtedly the buzz of Beeville and South Texas.

HIExp Duncan St Pat Outing
The team of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Duncan OK packed up their lucky charms and pot of gold and spent the day celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with the local seniors at the Ashbrook Village Assisted Living. The team of Leprechauns showed up with The Express Start Breakfast Buffet for all to share. Special prizes of the day included flowers for the ladies and even coffee mugs that were immediately put to good use! But they didn’t stop there! The team participated in the activities of the residents and listened to awesome stories and memories shared of the days of old. Many times it is taken for granted the sacrifices these men and women often made to make the lives of others better. The facility staff was extremely appreciative of the love and attention shown to their residents. TracyWaller

Proudly serving 13 years in The United States Armed Services has allowed Tracy to bring a unique skill set to the Integral team. With an outgoing personality and predisposition for hospitality it was a natural transition to The Isisbindi Lodges South Africa, a unique full service hotel. Spending time at boutique hotels in Honduras and Zanzibar, Tracy made an eventual return to mainland USA. This wide variety of experience has afforded Tracy the skills to lead a Hampton team that is in the Top 5% for Service and Cleanliness.

Even in the face of a changing environment that has seen a substantial shift in market conditions, Tracy and his team have not let that deter them. Their persistence and determination never waivers, as proven by their continued growth in share and a 22.3% increase in RevPAR Index over the past 3 months.

Time to Stop and Smell the Roses

HIS_ConroeTX3

The owners of the Hampton Inn & Suites Conroe TX first contacted Integral in late 2013 to discuss the idea of third-party management. They were beginning to consider stepping away from the day to day operations of the hotel in order to begin enjoying the life they had built for themselves. Up to this point they had run all operations of their property that opened in 2009, and even held down the General Manager position. In the end, they decided to bring an outside General Manager on board and stay involved with the property and table the decision to turn over the reins until a later time.

The discussion was revisited in 2014, but it wasn’t until October 2015 that they decided it was time for them to move forward with their plans. Integral began management of the 105 room hotel in November with the installation of a local General Manager who was already up to speed on the market. The initial transition and regularly scheduled visits to the property generated a detailed action plan for the GM and staff to carry out to address all opportunities for improvement and implementation of Integral systems. The Integral Operations Team monitors operations reports daily to keep an eye on the progress of the hotel. Additionally, daily phone calls and correspondence are an ongoing part of the leadership of the staff by the Director of Operations. The owners now have the peace of mind that the property is being carefully looked after and they can relax and concentrate on themselves.

Many owners can benefit from the interaction of Integral management in the lives of their properties, and can rest assured that the operations are being guided daily. Integral is proud to provide this level of comfort and honored to be a part of making owners’ lives more fulfilling.

Let Integral bring peace of mind to your daily operations.
